Farming report from Tortosa, southern Catalunya.
November 7th 2008. The olive harvest has begun, locals and newcomers alike are working to get in the ripening fruit. The weather helps, sunshine and light breezes. Unfortunately after some October rain, the fruit is swelled with water, so the oil content is relatively low, and of course the price follows the quality.

Why delay your move?

There is no substitute for looking in person at a few properties in the area to give you a clearer idea of what you will be happy with.

If you are visiting the area for holiday or as part of the process of deciding to buy, contact us by phone or email during your visit, and we will with just a day's notice, arrange for you to see a selection of the properties for sale. We can either meet you if you are happy to use your own hire car, or we can pick you up and spend some time with you to introduce you to some of the delights of the area as well as the properties.

If you contact us before your visit we can provide you with information on Hotels or Bed and Breakfast houses, and suggest an itinerary for your time here. 

The easiest way to get to the area, if you are in reach of Stanstead or Luton, Glasgow, Liverpool or Dublin  Airports, is to take a RyanAir flight to Reus from where our area is less than one hour along the AP7 Autoroute.  Easyjet, BA and several other carriers fly from a number of airports in UK to either Barcelona or Valencia, both of which are about two hours by road to our base.

We can arrange for you to be collected from the airports if you wish, but there is a charge for this service.
